Zombie Dearest

Zombie Dearest was a blast to DP. David Kemker was the Director and the star of the Indie and he was right into it, which moved things right along. We shot this movie with all my equipment using the Sony F900 at 23.98. It was shot in only thirteen days and did great at The First Time Film Festival (Los Angeles) “Winner of Audience Favorite Award”.

Working with Zombies was a lot of fun. You never know what they will do.

Teddy Bear

I was the DP on the indie film Teddy Bear . We used my Sony F900 at 23.98. The crew was very small which enabled us to move fast. We shot it out in eleven days. Yuval Daniel directed the movie and David Sparrow played Teddy Bear. Yuval wanted the movie to have a hand held look so I used my Easy-Rig which helped me in pulling focuses and shoot at the same time. About 95% of the movie was sh ot hand held. We used all my lighting and grip equipment which meant there were no extra rentals.

Movie of the Week

I have worked on several MOW with producer Julian Grant. I was second unit DP and operator. I put together some shots that I did on these movies for you to view. Much thanks to Julian for helping me get into the movie world and letting me supply my equipment for second unit on set.
The equipment I supplied was my triangle jib, a Sony F900 camera and monitors and my Porta Jib with a Dolly. Had a great time on these movies! Both DP’s Alwyn Kumst and Russ Goozee were easy to work with and I learned a lot from them which I appreciate.
